The Virtual Developing Country (VDC) is a free on-line resource developed by Biz/ed, and partially funded by Just Business.
This site introduces you to many of the issues and ideas that are of interest in the field of development economics, through virtual 'field trips' around Zambia. These field trips highlight issues including:
- Rural Life and Agriculture
- Copper
- Trade
- Aid, and
- Wildlife.
They contain background information on Zambia, various resources such as worksheets, teachers' guides, data sets, a photo gallery, maps, and a glossary.
